GKS-Compack is a very compact vertical packaging machine suitable for packing various products. Being one of the smallest vertical form, fill and seal machines in the world, it can transform film into a bag by using a specially developed former set. Finally the machine fills and seals the bag. The machine is being characterized by its flexibility and user friendliness.

The GKS-Compack distinguishes itself from other packaging machines because it is fundamentally smaller and completely self supportive. All it needs is a socket outlet with 230 volts. The pneumatic seal system is powered by the integrated air unit. If a higher capacity is needed, the machine can use external air.

The GKS-Compack is suitable for packing all types of free flowing food and non-food products in heatseal materials such as polypropylene up to a speed of 30 bags per minute and impulse materials such as polyethylene up to a speed of 20 bags per minute. The machine is operated manually, by hand or foot switch, or automatically combined with a dosing/weighing unit.

The GKS-Compack offers the best bag-size/machine size ratio. Depending on the machine type, the GKS-Compack has a bag width of between 75 and 450 mm. The standard maximum bag length is 500 mm. The bag length is determined by an encoder or photocell on the film or a photocell on the product. The machine is also prepared for producing block bottom and gusset type bags.
