Automatic slicing, coring and wedging machine

The Tona V is a multi function slicing, wedging and coring machine which delivers precise cutting of fruit and vegetables such as apples, tomatoes, carrots, onions, potatoes, kiwi fruits, pears, mushrooms, citrus fruits etc into segments, slices, sticks and more. Tona V is the latest in the Tona range of machines and can use customers existing blades and pushers. Tona V offers the option of standard or larger product holders and blades making it even more flexible than previous models with a maximum product diameter of 170mm.

Using only 2 blades and 8 product holders change and replacement parts costs are kept to a minimum

The Tona V is equipped with Kronens proven centering system. This ensures fruits and vegetables are always gently, but firmly, fixed in the centre of the holder. Product is always delivered to the centre of the blade, resulting in consistent, high quality results every time.

Vegetable spirals: The new veggie trend!

The new SPIRELLO 150 Spiral Peeler is fully in line with the veggie trend, as vegetable spaghetti is increasing in popularity among consumers. With the SPIRELLO 150 you are able to cut large quantities of vegetables in decorative spirals in a quick and clean way (such as carrots, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, zucchini, celeriac etc.)

With up to 680 revolutions per minute, the SPIRELLO 150 cuts vegetables within seconds into meter-long spirals, which can be shortened with the optional length cutting knife.

The machine is equipped with removable product magazines. Whilst one is being loaded the other is being spiralised. This means that the SPIRELLO 150 Spiral Peeler can be operated continuously and deliver high capacities.

The machine has an automatic separation system between good and waste product. The SPIRELLO 150 keeps waste to a minimum and automatically ejects the this un cut slab from the machine.

Other options available include an outfeed conveyor to reduce manual handling

The PGW food slicing machine is a pneumatically operated cutting system, combining a matched pair of blades and pushers. These easily changed parts mean the food slicing machine can be used for a wide range of cutting tasks such as slicing, coring, segmenting, wedging, sticks, peeling, special shapes and figurines and more. It’s a real all rounder and hugely flexible. Kronen have supplied over 200 different cutting inserts for the PGW, so there is a good chance we will be able to help. Blades and pushers can be changed in less than 5 minutes and no tools are required.

The Tona S180K is a slicing machine which delivers precise cutting of fruit and vegetables such as apples, tomatoes, carrots, onions, potatoes, kiwi fruits, pears, mushrooms, citrus fruits etc into segments, slices, sticks and figurines. It is a smart combination of the proven machines Tona E (wedger) & Tona S (slicer) with a cutting capacity up to 1.200 pieces per hour (20 pieces per minute) maximum diameter of 85 mm

Kronen Tona Rapid S145 – 3D – XL

Automatic slicing, coring and wedging machines

The Tona range of machines are designed to cut fruit and vegetables into slices, wedges, segments, sticks and other various shapes – according to the customers’ requirements. The machines are made of stainless steel and process upto 3600 items per hour, on the Tona Rapid S145 in its standard form. There is an optional speed upgrade kit which will increase throughput to 4600 per hour.

Hourly capacity of the 3D version is 3600 (speed upgrade not possible) and the XL version is 2400

A continuous variable speed feed system ensures high capacity and high quality results. The produce is inserted manually, kept in place by the purpose made flexible product holders and pushed through the cutting devices. The cut produce falls directly into a container or onto a conveyor belt. Options available include a system to separate apple wedges and core after cutting to save labour

A wide range of attachments are also available. Precise and high performance cutting – the Tona rapid machines are the ultimate in slicing efficiency.

The Tona Rapid 3D precuts the products horizontally (1, 2 or 3 cuts) before they get cut vertically by the main cutting device. This results in a three dimensional cut, producing small chunks from apples, half slices from lemon and many more.

The Tona Rapid XL has been designed to handle large fruits and vegetables such as pineapple, mango, eggplant, pepper, onion, etc. into slices, segments or sticks.
