Happy Retirement Brian

On behalf of everyone at Lingwood we would like to say what a pleasure it has been working with, and getting to know, Brian over the last few years. His wealth of knowledge and experience has been invaluable in establishing the Optimum Sorting range of equipment in the UK. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Brian. We thank him for his support and effort and wish him a long and happy retirement.
I am posting today to announce my retirement as of the 1st July 2023
I realise it is very short notice and a lot of you will be saying “about bloody time” but health issues have accelerated and it’s time to get out of the food industry after more than 35 years!
In brief, I have succumbed to a rare Neuro Degenerative disease called MSA. (MULTIPLE SYSTEM ATROPHY – www.msatrust.org.uk)
Enough to say that time is not on my side and it’s time to lay back and enjoy some family time
Don’t get me wrong there has been more happy experiences than sad, from BBQ’s at the Royal Show with MORRAY ENGINEERING and the launch of FUJI Robotic Palletisers in the UK through to my most recent experiences with the launch of OPTIMUM-SORTING to the UK through LINGWOOD FOOD SERVICES.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone I have ever worked with, be they colleagues or customers, I have learned from you all
In particular I would like to thank Ian Hope and Mark Damant and ALL the team at Lingwood for their support over the last few months
