S-Blade – Automated Defect Removal for Strip Products.
Our latest innovation: S-BLADE Removing defects from strips with vision technology. PIP Innovations started developing a solution for removing defects from strips in 2020 aiming to provide the industry with a high capacity, high efficiency and low maintenance solution. After developing multiple concepts and using different technologies we landed on simplicity in 2022 with 14 granted patent claims.
Developed with a single purpose – to produce perfect french fries with no defects. With 3 years in development, PIP innovations worked tirelessly to improve upon the current market leader to increase productivity and outperform the existing solutions on the market. The end result is the S-Blade. Launching at the end of 2023 the S-Blade will offer simplicity, low cost, outstanding results, a smaller factory footprint with the same (or better) capacity and of course outstanding ROI.
